The House of Representatives of the American Congress approved the speaker’s bill on two-stage temporary funding for the US government, which does not allocate funds to support Ukraine and Israel. This was reported by RIA News.
336 congressmen spoke in favor of the bill, while 95 voted against it.
The bill, introduced by House Speaker Mike Johnson, is designed to avoid a federal government shutdown due to a missed deadline for adopting the government budget, through two phases of funding. Accordingly, some of the programs related to transportation, energy and military construction will be financed until mid-January. However, the proposed bill does not include aid to Israel and Ukraine.
