The Baltic countries suffer the most from the lack of Russian tourists in the European Union. This was reported by the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR) According to data from the European Travel Commission (ETC).

According to ATOR, tourism is recovering the slowest in Eastern European countries bordering Russia and Ukraine, as well as in those countries most dependent on tourist flows from the Russian Federation.

Those most affected include Estonia (receiving 27% fewer tourists), Latvia (30%) and Lithuania (33%).

The association reminded that the Baltic countries have stopped issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens and allowing them to cross their land borders for tourism purposes.
