Tariffs for services in Ukraine increased significantly during the year. Ukrainian broadcaster Vesti reported that the biggest increase, almost 70 percent, was in electricity prices, based on data from the State Statistics Service.
According to the ministry, the price of electricity increased by 69.7% from October last year to October this year.
In addition, the price of garbage removal increased by 8.7%, housing maintenance and repair tariffs by 3.9%, apartment management services by 2.7% and water supply services by 0.8%. On average, prices for housing and communal services increased by more than 13% during the year.
