Russia may allow gasoline and diesel exports next week 16:49

The Russian government has instructed oil companies to prepare for the removal of all remaining restrictions on diesel fuel and gasoline exports. This was reported by Reuters he quotes three industry sources.

Another source said that the word about lifting the ban is expected in the coming days. “We are currently in low season, we cannot sell that much in the domestic market,” an anonymous source told the agency.

According to the agency’s calculation, Russia exported 35 million tons of diesel fuel and 4.8 million tons of gasoline in 2022.

Russia, the world’s largest diesel exporter, banned fuel exports on September 21 in order to reduce domestic prices. On October 6, restrictions on diesel were partially lifted, but gasoline supplies continued.
