According to the vice president, the company’s specialists are conducting pilot development work at the Payakhskoye and Irkinskoye fields. The total length of the oil pipeline will be 770 km. In 2022, due to new discoveries on the left bank of the Yenisei, Vostok Oil’s resource base was replenished with 300 million tons of oil. Work has also started in the Taimyr fields, which will provide the majority of production.
In addition, 12 power plants with a total capacity of 3.6 GW will be built for the project. It is planned to integrate wind generation with a capacity of over 1 GW into the energy system.
Vostok Oil’s resource base is estimated at 6.5 billion tonnes of oil, according to the company. Production should start in 2024. By 2033, it is planned to transfer 115 million tons of oil annually through the pipeline to the North Gulf port and then for export.
