In the statement made by the National Bank of Ukraine, it was stated that an IMF working mission started last week, the aim of which will be to conduct a second interim review of the $ 15.6 billion expanded financing program for Ukraine.

NBU president Andriy Pyshny emphasized that the revision will not be easy, but the Ukrainian team has been working closely with the IMF for more than 20 months. “We clearly understand the importance of the Fund’s support not only in terms of financing budget needs, but also in terms of the development of the country,” he said.

Before that, Ukrainian Minister of Finance Sergei Marchenko warned Without the help of the Allies, there was a gap of approximately $30 billion in the budget.

Previously, the National Bank of Ukraine for the first time since July 2022 raised Official hryvnia/dollar exchange rate.
