Fast food chain restaurant Pizza Hut has faced calls to boycott its establishments over ads about “transgender kids” for preschoolers. Reported by this TV channel Fox News.
As part of its reading promotion program, the company advertised Big Wig, described as a “great audiobook” for preschoolers through third grade. It is said to “honor the universal experience of dressing up as a child and the confidence of wearing a costume”.
Simon & Schuster’s website says this picture book “does transgender children right”.
Some criticized the Pizza Hut choice and suggested that the company be boycotted for being “progressive”.
Last year, the American Adrian Sean, who went to the Pizza Hut fast food restaurant, angry inscription “Shake, squeeze and squirt” on tomato sauce at tables in the business.
The man recorded a video he posted on social media and said he was concerned that the ketchup was labeled “as if it was created for a swingers practice” while positioning itself as a family cafe.
As The Sun reports, a week after the public outcry this story caused, fast food apologized for the moral damage done to Seann.
