Aeroflot airline became one of the leaders in purchasing from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) according to the results of three quarters of 2023. These are the conclusions reached by SME Corporation analysts, who published on the smp.rf portal the results of acquisitions of the largest Russian companies under 223-FZ.
Representatives of the SME Institution noted that the transaction volume with SME suppliers this year reached record levels compared to the same period in previous years.
SME Corporation stated that according to the results of the 9 months of this year, Aeroflot more than doubled the value of contracts signed with small and medium-sized enterprises compared to the annual volume of similar contracts in 2022.
“The airline is constantly increasing its purchasing volumes in this area and has been cooperating with SME Corporation JSC for many years. “Aeroflot experts regularly provide methodological support to SMEs by participating in the company’s training seminars,” he said.
The company recalls that Aeroflot entered the top five in the TOP-20 ranking of SME Corporation at the end of 2022, this summer in St. medium-sized businesses.
