Shamil Magomedov, head of the “Smart Information Security Systems” department at the RTU MIREA Institute of Cybersecurity and Digital Technologies, said that banks can block a card to frequently cash out large sums of money, the news agency reported. “Hit the primer”.
According to him, the reality is that suspicious transfers in banking systems are increasingly being tracked by artificial intelligence, which analyzes transactions using thousands of parameters.
“A good reason for the AI to be suspicious could be the regular withdrawal of large sums from the bank card, especially if the money has just been transferred to the card,” Magomedov said.
Additionally, the AI can stop the transaction if it thinks its signs are unusual for a particular banking customer.
The signals are created by artificial intelligence based on mathematical models that take into account thousands of factors, such as the distance between participants in a banking transaction, their relationship or acquaintances.
Magomedov added that the words specified by customers in the “payment purpose” line are not taken into account by artificial intelligence in any way, and this is handled by the tax service.
