The majority of Russians (75%) are ready to spend up to 10 thousand rubles on family entertainment during school holidays. This follows from a survey by Pochta Bank (available from socialbites.ca).
13% of respondents focus on spending up to 20 thousand rubles, 9% – up to 30 thousand rubles. The remaining 3% expenses are planned up to 50 thousand rubles.
Joint cultural entertainment, including theatres, museums, exhibitions and cinema, was planned by 26% of respondents. The children of 20% of the participants will attend educational clubs and departments, and 17% will spend time with their children out of town. 13% of respondents plan to travel with their entire family. 10% will go out with their children, and 3% will send their children to camp. Another 14% of respondents have no specific plan.
75 percent of those planning to travel with their children preferred to travel within Russia, and 25 percent preferred to travel abroad. For a trip with the whole family, 40% of respondents are ready to spend more than 70 thousand rubles, another 22% plan to limit themselves to 30 thousand rubles and up to 50 thousand rubles. 10% of respondents are not ready to spend more than 70 thousand rubles, and 6% are confident in a budget of 10 thousand rubles.
The majority of survey participants (73%) are prepared to pay for entertainment during school holidays from their monthly income, 9% from income from savings accounts and deposits, and 8% from a credit card. Another 7% of respondents had already saved money for these purposes. And 3% plan to use their holiday money.
School holidays in most Russian schools will take place from October 28 to November 5, 2023. Another holiday was added to them – November 6.
In October, Pochta Bank conducted a survey among its customers and subscribers on social networks. More than 1.7 thousand people aged 25 to 60 years from different regions of Russia participated in the study.
