Russian energy company Unipro made a net profit of 23.71 billion rubles in the January-September period of this year, according to Russian accounting standards (RAS). This was reported by TASS With reference to the company’s press service.
According to the press service, the company made a net loss of 5.76 billion rubles in the same period last year.
“Revenue during the reporting period increased by 10.3% and reached 90.5 billion rubles,” the statement said.
As Unipro reported, the profit increase was due to a 4.1% increase in energy production, an increase in market prices for the coming day and payments for the capacity of the modernized power unit No. 1 of Surgutskaya GRES-2. Increase in payments under contracts for the supply of power to the Berezovskaya GRES power unit No. 3.
