Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber put forward an initiative to create a fund for co-financing of oil and gas projects within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The statement was made at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states in an expanded format in Kyrgyzstan.
“We are ready to export technical and engineering equipment at the first stage of creating oil and gas equipment,” the Iranian official assured.
According to Mokhber, Iran is trying to create a regional “energy and trade” center that “will also include renewable energy sources.”
