The main challenge under sanctions was ensuring technological sovereignty, as revealed in a survey of business breakfast attendees; Today, both the production and transmission of electricity need import substitution.

In second place in terms of importance was the modernization of the existing infrastructure. Market participants noted the construction of new infrastructure, stopping the increase in electricity tariffs and the transition of energy to low-carbon production as important tasks.

“We understand that the industry will have to implement investment programs in conditions where access to foreign equipment, technology and services is limited,” Popov emphasized.
