Fitch Ratings said it decided to withdraw the ratings assigned to Belarus and refuse to issue new ones due to lack of sufficient information about the state of the country’s economy. This has been reported Web site agencies.

“Fitch Ratings has withdrawn Belarus’ ratings, including the long-term foreign exchange issuer default rating of ‘RD’ (limited default),” Fitch said.

It was learned that the withdrawal of Belarus’ ratings occurred due to “lack of sufficient participation in the issuer’s rating process.”

In the future, Fitch will not issue ratings or analytical reports on the situation in Belarus.
