Head of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture, Robert Telus, demanded that Ukraine’s complaint to the World Trade Organization (WTO) not be suspended but withdrawn. This was reported by RMF24.
“We do not know what it means to suspend consideration of a complaint. “We demand that the complaint be withdrawn because it is unfounded and absurd,” he said.
He also expressed surprise at Ukrainian complaints about Poland’s willingness to “help Polish farmers.”
Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka said that Kiev had suspended the consideration of complaints against Poland, Slovakia and Hungary at the World Trade Organization.
On September 15, the EU leadership took a decision subtract Banning the import of Ukrainian grain into the countries of the regional community. Brussels also demanded that Kiev take measures to control the export of products and develop an action plan.
