The countries of the European Union will have to look for a place to replace Russian gas in the event of a decrease or complete cessation of supply; Gas reserves in Africa are considered as an alternative. On the African continent, the main gas reserves are concentrated in Algeria (18% of the total in Africa), Egypt (17%), Libya (11%) and Nigeria (43%).
