China’s Unipec chartered at least 10 tankers to transport oil from Russia in May

China’s largest oil trader Unipec has decided to charter at least 10 tankers to transport oil from Russia to the country. About informs Citing sources, Bloomberg.

China International United Petroleum & Chemical Co., known as Unipec, has chartered at least 10 tankers in May to transport Russian ESPO-quality oil shipped from the port of Kozmino in Primorsky Krai, according to an agency source.

Analysts calculated that the amount of ships booked in May was five times higher than the figure a month ago. At the same time, Unipec itself declined to comment.
