“I know they’ve been talking to franchisees there to get them on a new brand. Slowly, little by little, the questions are disappearing,” he said.
He expressed hope that the new owner will maintain the quality of the food McDonald’s offers.
“But I want to say that the most important thing out there is the price. The company built an effective business model – there were no extra costs. In this sense, they are famous all over the world. I want the new owners to keep it and be just as competitive,” Titov added.
Former Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation received A petition from the Club Hotel company to purchase the Russian division of McDonald’s – McDonald’s Corporation.
According to the statement, FAS will examine the impact of the transaction on the Russian catering services market, as anticipated.
It also became known that McDonald’s restaurants under the new brand are planning to return to work in Russia on June 12. Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said that 95% of restaurant menus will remain unchanged.
