The AFK Sistema company is considering the possibility of attracting investors to the Medsi network of clinics and medical centers by the end of 2024, Tagir Sitdekov, head of the AFK Sistema company, told RBC at the Eastern Economic Forum.

AFK noted that according to the first half results of 2023, Medsi increased its revenue by 15.7 percent, reaching 20 billion rubles, and OIBDA reached 3.4 billion rubles. against 2.9 billion rubles. in the first half of last year.

The growth of Medsi’s financial indicators, as previously reported, was facilitated by the increase in the workload of medical centers, the provision of home medical care, the development of telemedicine, laboratory and pharmacy areas.

A Medsi representative noted that the total number of network clinics in Russia is now 142, of which 64 are in Moscow and the region and 78 are in other regions. At the same time, the number of unique patients in the company’s healthcare institutions increased by 13% in the first 6 months of this year compared to the same period last year, exceeding 975.7 thousand people.

Additionally, the chain has equipped its clinics with advanced equipment and introduced high medical technologies, the company said. The network’s clinics include more than 40 centers of excellence in reproductive science, traumatology and orthopedics, neurosurgery, endoscopy, oncology and chemotherapy, and x-ray endovascular surgery.

The company emphasizes that the medical company focuses on the development and implementation of digital services.

AFK Sistema’s press service reported that this asset has already attracted the attention of investors. Especially this year, all Medsi bond issuances were carried out with a serious excess of demand over supply.
