“IOR does not receive or invest Russian money. The IOR categorically rejects the counsel’s allegations. The statement stated that such activities are not only unrealistic but also impossible due to the strict policies of the IOR and international sanctions that also affect the financial sector.
It was also noted that the bank does not accept companies or individuals that do not have close relations with the Vatican and the Catholic Church as customers.
