World Bank allocates assistance to Ukraine for housing repair 16:50

The World Bank has allocated an additional $232 million to Ukraine for emergency housing repairs. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine.

According to the agency, the country has developed and implemented the project “Renovation of housing to restore people’s rights and opportunities”. Funds were transferred from the World Bank for its implementation. It is stated that within the framework of this initiative, more than 100,000 families will have the opportunity to renovate their homes.

According to the Ministry of Reintegration, about 98,000 houses and 8,000 apartments are planned to be restored in five regions of Ukraine. It has been recorded that 1.4 million houses, currently inhabited by approximately 3.5 million people, have been damaged in the country.
