Dombrovskis emphasized that 33 billion Euros of these funds will be provided in the form of loans and 17 billion Euros in the form of grants.
“For Kiev to receive funding, it must adopt a plan that will include reforms and investments for the reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as the reforms necessary for Ukraine’s accession to the EU,” a European official said.
Currently, according to the 2023 aid program for Ukraine, Kiev receives 18 billion Euros per year or 1.5 billion Euros per month from the EU.
