Russian Federation Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko told reporters that Russia allows transit supplies as well as dairy products from the Turov Dairy Plant in Belarus.
Restrictions on the passage of dairy products from Belarus through the territory of Russia have been in effect since June 26 only in relation to the OJSC Turov Dairy Plant. In the spring, Rosselkhoznadzor partially limited the supply of products from this Belarusian enterprise to Russia, as it turned out that the cheeses were falsified – part of the milk fat in them was replaced with beef.
During inspections, Rosselkhoznadzor lifted import restrictions from July 11, 2023, taking into account the guarantees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus regarding the compliance of the plant products with the requirements of the EAEU, as well as the materials provided by the Belarusian veterinary service in the work carried out to eliminate the identified violations <...> and the transition of the products of this enterprise, ”said Abramchenko.
He also stated that countries continue to work on the integration of information systems in the field of veterinary medicine.
