The Russian government will extend the export quota of mineral fertilizers until at least December 2022. TASSWith reference to the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, last year’s planting campaign was successfully carried out throughout Russia, due to preferential support measures and meeting the needs of farmers in resources, including mineral fertilizers.
“The government will extend the measures taken previously to quota mineral fertilizer exports from June until at least December 2022,” Abramchenko said, according to the press service.
He added that in order to fully meet the needs of the farmers and to get results in the production of agricultural products, the domestic market should continue to be a priority for the producers.
Abramchenko stated that from 1 June to 31 May 2023 this year, more than 15 million tons of fertilizer will be purchased, which is 23% more than the previous year.
