“Currently, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is preparing an updated version of the list of goods allowed for parallel importation and excludes Mast-Jagermeister SE products,” the message reads.

Kristall recalled that since the start of production of Alter Heiler and Konig Heiler bitters, the plant has faced “unprecedented and illegal pressure” from Mast-Jagermeister. He filed two lawsuits against the plant, including the German manufacturer, for a total of 512 million rubles.
In December, Kristall filed a complaint against Mast-Jägermeister with the Russian Federal Antitrust Service for unfair competition. The facility alleged that Mast-Jagermeister is putting pressure on manufacturers and retailers who are trying to ban Kristall from producing its own bitters in Russia under the Alter Heiler and Konig Heiler brands, as well as wholesalers and retail chains where they don’t sell those products. .
