Foreign companies that decided to stay in the Russian market saw record revenue growth in 2022. We’re talking about Mondelez, Mars, Cadbury and PepsiCo. In this respect informs The Bloomberg agency cites data from organizations.

Oreo biscuits and Alpen Gold chocolate maker Mondelez managed to increase its sales to RUB 92 billion (+38%). Chocolate maker Cadbury more than doubled its revenue in 2021. Moreover, this was achieved due to the increase in prices, the increase in sales and the decrease in advertising investment.

According to the agency, last year Mars increased sales to 177 billion rubles, increasing revenue by 14%. Profit rose to 27 billion rubles (+58%). PepsiCo’s revenue in Russia increased by 16%, while its profits increased by a record 300%.

Analysts thought that foreign companies were able to achieve such a result, especially because most competitors who decided to leave Russia withdrew from the market. So in this case there was a sharp increase in sales and net profit.
