Only then can employees count on the payment of wages they should have received while the company has not yet filed for court-ordered bankruptcy.
Arbitration manager Svetlana Khabarova described the initiative as “good” because payments to people will be a priority. Mikhail Alekseev, expert of the People’s Front project “For the Rights of Debtors”, noted that if the draft law is passed, the chances of the Russians to repay the debts of a bankrupt employer in full or more owed to them will increase more than now.
