Andriy Pyshny, head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBK), said the country’s international reserves had reached a record level, reaching nearly $39 billion. DEA News.

According to Pyshny, this figure is a record for the entire history of independent Ukraine.

He emphasized that in June, the Ukrainian government’s accounts were $1.6 billion from the European Union, $1.2 billion from the USA, $69.1 million from the World Bank and $15 million from the Finnish government.

Pyshny added that the revenue from Ukraine’s partners is significantly higher than the volume of interventions of the NBU in the sale of foreign currency and the country’s debt payments in foreign currency.
