A third of Crimean hotels may not open due to lack of demand

About a third of the hotels and guest houses in Crimea may not open during the peak season due to the decline in demand among Russians for holidays on the peninsula. “Kommersan”.

According to TVil.ru representative Oksana Shustikova, hotels with 50-60 rooms, which is 20-30% of the total number of rooms in Crimea, will not continue to operate. And Andrey Pylov, director of Tour Ethno, says that delaying the opening of seasonal facilities from late April to late May is a huge phenomenon, and it’s likely that some objects will decide to refuse to operate this season.
