In June 2023, the number of approved housing loan repayment applications made remotely by families with multiple children reached 50,000. This was reported by the press service of DOM.RF.
As stated in the company, such an opportunity arose thanks to the service launched by DOM.RF and Mintsifra on the Gosuslugi portal in August 2022. Thus, the service simplified the interaction between applicants, government and creditors by eliminating the need to apply for payments to bank offices.
At the same time, the average time for consideration of appeals was significantly reduced. To date, the number of manual processes has been reduced to a minimum and the processes have been completely transferred to the electronic environment. Previously, the only way to get paid was to contact the bank where the mortgage was issued.
As emphasized by Vitaly Mutko, Director General of DOM.RF, support for families with children today is one of the most important tasks of state policy in the social field. According to him, for this purpose, programs are being implemented to solve the main problem for the majority of Russians, namely housing.
“Over 550,000 families with many children have been able to reduce their debts and often repay the loan in full thanks to their mortgage payments. To ensure that the subsidy does not take much time, we have simplified the process by doing it completely remotely. And we see the demand – already over 60% of family applications are processed through “Gosuslugi”. “We will be able to use the experience gained with the Ministry of Digital Development to implement other government support measures in the future.”
In turn, Oleg Kachanov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, said that an application for a subsidy from the state to pay off a mortgage can be filled completely online, without wasting time visiting bank branches.
