The company RusKhimAlliance, created by Gazprom and RusGazDobycha to manage an integrated complex for the processing and liquefaction of natural gas in the Ust-Luga region, has filed a lawsuit against German banks Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank in St. Petersburg and the Arbitration Court of the Leningrad Region.
RBC writes that, according to the court file, the claims in the case against Deutsche Bank AG amounted to 22.223 billion rubles, and to Commerzbank AG – 8.726 billion rubles.
RusKhimAlliance representative declined to comment on requests for publication in connection with this case. There are no other details at the moment.
It was previously reported in Rushimalliance plans Establishing an integrated gas processing and liquefaction plant in Ust-Luga. Also, the possibility of purchasing Russian GTD-110M turbines is being considered. Sources said these machines should have been installed instead of Japanese gas turbines by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which refused to honor its contract.
According to the publication, it is planned to order new compressors from Kazankompressormash. But the production lines do not have the necessary turbines, so it is necessary to develop more powerful power plants.
