“In the five months of 2023, 14.7 million consumer loans were issued for 2.83 trillion rubles (+109.2%) (+116.5% compared to the five months of 2022,” the study says.
In May alone, the issuance of loans amounted to 3.4 million cases in the amount of 660.2 billion rubles. Compared to the same period of the previous year, these figures increased by three and three and a half times, respectively.
At the same time, the average amount of consumer loans increased by 16.7% – currently 192.52 thousand rubles.

Special conditions were created for the simplified interaction of financial institutions in the new regions of Russia: collection agencies were dissolved, and banks received regulatory support from the Central Bank.
Previously in the State Duma suggested prohibiting the granting of loans to foreign agents.
