In January-June 2023, the average check for the purchase of a Chinese smartphone in Russia decreased by 30% to 9,703 rubles, compared to 13,913 rubles in the same period of the previous year. It is also Chinese smartphones that have become the most popular among Russians. According to the results of the first half of the year, their share increased to 79%, compared to 64% a year ago.
The publication added that it is the second most popular among Korean smartphones. At the same time, their performance fell, and the purchase share of such phones in the first half of the year was 15%. A year ago, their share was 27%. The average purchase amount of Korean smartphones also fell to 19,296 rubles.
According to the results of the first half of the year, the share of smartphones from the USA accounted for only 6% of all purchases, while the average check fell from 70,292 rubles to 53,818 rubles.
