Currently, the volume of gasoline supplies to the Russian domestic market is significantly behind the plans and indicators of last year, contrary to the corresponding requirements of the Russian authorities to increase levels. The failure of local oil companies to increase their fuel sales on the stock market ultimately leads to a significant increase in quotations, informs newspaper “Kommersant” with reference to industry sources.

The backlog of the plan in June was almost 7%. This is a comparison to the initial level required for fuel shipments for local oil companies. The delay is largely due to preventive work at the oil refineries (refinery) mentioned in the article.

At the same time, oil companies have recently begun to gradually increase the volume of gasoline production on an average daily basis. After the completion of the repairs at the refinery, this figure increased by 6.6% compared to May values.
