“More active growth in cash demand was recorded in the southern regions. In the Voronezh, Rostov, Lipetsk regions and in large cities. Demand has increased by about 70-80% there,” Belousov said.
According to him, an emergency was avoided thanks to the work of the Central Bank of Russia. He emphasized that already on June 25, demand for cash began to decline.
It also reported the growth in demand for goods in these regions. At the same time, he noted that there was no disruption in trade and that there were sufficient reserves.
