Soldiers from the Rostov region will receive a lump sum of 100,000 rubles from the regional budget. He announced this in his newspaper telegraph channel Governor Vasily Golubev.
“I signed a decree on a one-time payment of 100 thousand rubles in cash for contract soldiers and volunteers from the Rostov region,” wrote the head of the region.
He noted that the measure will affect those who sign at least a one-year contract. Golubev stressed that not only residents of the Rostov region who signed a new contract, but also those who participated in the special operation from the very beginning, can receive the payment.
He recalled that last year the authorities paid 150,000 rubles to those mobilized from the region and to contracted soldiers from the enlisted troops. The governor noted that the difference in the size of payments is linked to budgetary possibilities. Golubev added that authorities will continue to look for new opportunities to support fighters and their families.
