Compared to April, the volume of monthly consumer loans extended by 11%, increased by approximately 3.4 times compared to the May 2022 crisis. The publication noted that a comparable volume of cash loans issued by Russian banks was last recorded in August 2021, after which the monthly amount of loans reached 644.1 billion rubles.
Quantitatively, the number of consumer loans granted increased by 19% compared to April, reaching 3.3 million, according to company analysts. However, the average bill fell to 200.9 thousand rubles, which is 6.4% less than in April this year.
The report noted that the volume of mortgages increased by 4% to 591.5 billion rubles, the highest value since the beginning of this year. Auto loans in May amounted to 117.9 billion rubles, which is also a record figure.
