During the five months of 2023, Moscow customers signed more than 28,000 contracts with individuals and individual entrepreneurs (IEs) on the supplier portal; this is 10% more than the same indicator of the previous year. In this respect informs RIA Novosti cites Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
“The supplier portal allows entrepreneurs from all over the country to participate in small-volume purchases made by customers in the capital. From January to May of this year, the volume of such transactions exceeded four billion rubles.
Individuals and individual entrepreneurs from Moscow showed the greatest activity in public procurement. With them, customers of the capital signed 14.3 thousand state contracts. In second place were citizens and entrepreneurs from the Moscow region, more than 7.4 state contracts were signed with them. Residents of the Tambov region also actively participated in public procurement.
The supplier portal is one of the largest online platforms for purchases by individuals, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of no more than 600 thousand rubles. The portal was created by the Moscow government in 2013. Currently, 285 thousand suppliers from all regions of Russia are registered, and more than 90% of them are representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2022, the volume of purchases made through the portal increased by 11.5%.
