International sanctions against Russia affect the work of the factory of the Japanese manufacturer of construction machinery and equipment, Komatsu, located in Yaroslavl. The CEO also noted that the Russian company will not completely restrict its business activities in the region. But the management of the legal entity will have to lay off 300 employees.
“The business fulfills all its obligations to the region. Sanction restrictions affect its work, but the company does not restrict its activities in Yaroslavl. Considering the changing needs of the business, the staff will be reduced by 300. Persons will receive all payments stipulated by the law”.
