The products of Russian manufacturers of household chemicals may be the first category of non-food products that will help them increase their share on the shelves of local stores by ten percent. In this respect informs The newspaper Izvestia, which refers to the relevant initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg).

This measure should help Russian producers increase their share in the domestic market after a number of foreign producers left on the backdrop of international sanctions. At the same time, foreign manufacturers still dominate the market, according to the article, despite the fact that Western companies have curtailed or reduced their business activities.

“The first domestic product to be quota on the shelf may be household chemicals. This is a category in which international brands are now leading. The article says that now, for Russian goods, a few percent of the total size of the shelves can be “cleared”.

Currently, the relevant draft law is under review by the government, representatives of the Council of Ministers are preparing a response to it. The author of the initiative was Tatyana Butskaya, in the note.

Thus, the revenue of the LG subsidiary fell to 55.4 billion rubles by the end of 2022, Bosch structures – 19.5 billion rubles, Samsung – 27.4 billion rubles.
