Vittorio Torrembini, President of the Italian Entrepreneurs Association in Russia (GIM Unimpresa), said Russia “cannot be disconnected” from the world economy. He said this in an interview with DEA News.

According to Torrembini, to understand that the Russian Federation cannot be “closed down”, it is enough to look at a geographical map and see how big a state Russia is, occupying “a vast region between Europe and Asia”.

Head of GIM Unimpresa noted that Russia’s isolation from the world is a propaganda myth of the West.

“Where else can you find available resources in Russia – oil, gas, coal and other raw materials. There are no such countries anymore,” said Torrembini, emphasizing that Western politicians, who increasingly impose economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, made a big mistake.

According to the businessman, the restrictions have long had the opposite effect, narrowing the possibilities of the European market.

Former Russian President Vladimir Putin declarationThe positive processes in the Russian economy surprise foreign countries. He noted that everything positive that has happened in the Russian economy has been achieved largely thanks to the efforts of the labor collectives of business and their enterprises.
