The Russian government has approved new deduction prices for grain taxes from 1 June 2023. According to innovations, the export tax on wheat from the beginning of summer amounts to 17 thousand rubles, on barley and corn – about 15,875 rubles, reported in the relevant decision published on the official legal information portal.
As part of the grain dumper, a flexible export tax has been imposed on wheat, corn and barley on the Russian domestic agricultural market since June 2021. Since July 2022, the calculation of these taxes has been converted into rubles.
Currently, export duties for wheat are 15 thousand rubles, for barley and corn – about 13,875 rubles. So, since the summer of this year, the above indicators will increase by 2 thousand rubles. Export taxes in this amount are followed from the document that will be valid for the export of agricultural products from Russia, except for the states participating in the Customs Union agreements.

He also added that he is currently working with Afreximbank to help small countries in Africa overcome trade disruptions.
