Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, comments in an interview RT A proposal by a deputy from the lower house of parliament, the head of the Sober Russia project, to ban alcohol stores from owning websites and mobile applications called for mandatory information on the dangers of alcohol to these sources. The interlocutor noted that he supports his colleague in the fight for a healthy lifestyle, but, according to him, such a decision will not reduce the demand for hard drinks.

“Therefore, I would make it mandatory for such sites to include normal-scale information about the dangers of alcohol on the first page. With scary pictures, the inscription: “Alcohol is your enemy!” and counting the diseases caused by all these, including premature death. And if you open half the site, and it is dedicated to harm with pictures and a list of diseases, and then there is an assortment, then this approach will be balanced and propaganda-wise, ”Nilov explained.

With a proposal to ban alcohol stores from having their own Internet resources, Khamzaev turned to the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko.
