The head of the Hungarian Ministry of Defense, Peter Szijjarto, said the country had requested clarification from the European Commission and Ukraine on the situation at the Druzhba oil pipeline. He announced it on the air. Kossuth.

“We have not received any clarification from Kiev on this matter. “I believe this is such an important issue that the President of the European Commission needs to make a personal statement, as the issue of energy supply security is a matter of sovereignty,” Szijjártó said.

According to him, the sabotage on the Druzhba oil pipeline is seen by Hungary as an encroachment on the country’s energy security. Szijjarto added that according to international agreements, Hungary should receive transit oil via Ukraine via Druzhba.
