Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the beginning of the de-dollarization of the world economy. Head of the foreign policy department aforementioned RIA Novosti agency, XXXI of the Council for Foreign and Defense Policy. At his meeting he wrote:
“Dedollarization has begun, both in practice and in conceptual conversations. As part of the BRICS, Brazil has offered to seriously consider their task of maintaining financial agreements within this union at the summit in August.”
The Minister expressed the view that Russia’s stance on dedollarization is shared by many countries.

At the same time, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said journalists about the discussion between Russia and Iran on mutual settlement in Chinese yuan. At the same time, according to him, at the moment payments in national currencies – rubles and riyals – between countries account for more than 80%.
