With the volume of the Russian market of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and their use by the end of 2023, the service could amount to more than 50 billion rubles. This was expressed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Shpak at a meeting in the government, reported Kremlin press office

“By the end of 2023, we expect the volume of the Russian market for UAS and its uses and services to be more than 50 billion rubles. We expect the share of domestic purchases in the public sector to exceed 90 percent,” he said.

According to the deputy minister, success in this sector will lead to a synergetic effect for the development of other branches of the economy – software development, the provision of goods and services.
