Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported that the final decision has been taken to transform the remains of the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol into a technopark. DEA News.
“We think there should be a technopark there. There were different opinions, but it should be understood that Azovstal has only hundreds of thousands of tons of metal. And when the demining of the area is finished, it will be necessary to put it in order, it will cost not a small amount of money, but billions (rubles). That’s why there is still the idea to build a technopark,” he said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Russia-Islamic World forum, Khusnullin noted that planned demining works continue and that plans for the development of Azovstal as a technopark should be ready at the end of this process.
