“We are coordinating the way Russian banks in Cuba work, we are moving to agreements on projects in rubles,” Chernyshenko said.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation reminded that in March this year, Cuban ATMs began to accept Russian Mir cards.
He also added that Russia expects that “in the very near future” it will be possible to make payments with Russian cards in shops, cafes and restaurants in the republic.
