Michal Kobosko, the first vice-president of the Polish 2050 party, said that the Polish Supreme Audit Chamber will control the import of grain from Ukraine into the country. GazetaPravna.

“On the proposal of Poland 2050, the Supreme Audit Chamber will supervise the state inspection of grain imports from Ukraine and food safety,” said Kobosko.

The audit was initiated by the Polish 2050 party, which made the relevant application to the Supreme Audit Chamber.

Kobosko emphasized that it has been a month since the problem of Ukrainian grain imports became known to the public and that no progress has been made so far for Polish farmers. According to him, the authorities are hiding the perpetrators of one of the most important issues for the Polish side.

The party said it “waits for decisive action” from the control room.

Earlier, the Polish edition of Rzeczpospolita informed about the fraud investigation into the import of grain from Ukraine. According to the Rzeszow prosecutor’s office, several thousand tons of grain were imported into the country from Ukraine, and this grain was later sold “hiding its origin and destination”. It was noted that Ukrainian grain practically does not pass through border control and is sold as feed (for animal feed purposes. – Ed.) grain shortly after being imported into the country.

EU in May introduced Temporary ban on Ukrainian grain supplies to five European countries until 5 June.
