Azimuth Airlines starts selling tickets from Moscow to Tbilisi

Russian airline Azimuth has started selling flight tickets from Moscow to Tbilisi on its website, after the Georgian aviation authorities granted flight permits as of May 17.

Ticket prices range from 17,148 rubles to 62,798 rubles.

Previous TASS referring to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency reportedGeorgian aviation authorities reportedly allowed Russian airline Azimuth to fly to the country from 17 May. The airline will be able to operate seven flights a week, round-trip from Moscow to Tbilisi.

Earlier, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili said that several Russian airlines have requested flights from the Russian Federation to all international airports in Georgia – to Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi.

On May 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the flight ban on Russian airlines to Georgia, which has been in effect since June 2019. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili positively described the abolition of the Russian Federation’s visa regime and the flight ban to Georgia.
